Spending on advertising is expected to exceed 300 billion worldwide by 2010

The advertising spend is expected to exceed £ 300 billion worldwide by 2010. That's a lot of money, which shows that advertising works when targeted to the right. At the advertisement based on sheets of newspaper or posters that were distributed around a city. Now we have everything from newspapers to television to van graphics to spread the word.

The use of a mobile advertising has its roots in the fairly recent past, 1993 in fact when a printing company managed to wrap a bus in a thin vinyl which had graphic content that was generated on a computer. The announcement was for a popular fizzy drink, and how the warp first half of furniture was a huge success.

Mobile ads are really just a progression on billboards, but unlike the famous billboard, vehicle wraps can be seen by many more people. Instead of waiting for the announcement for people to come to it, the announcement can now go to the people. The buses are ideal for displaying mobile ads and trains too. Amtrak in America was the first train to deform a motor Metra and now they are doing well.

Closer to home in Great Britain there is an explosion of commercial vehicles to be wrapped in graphics-rich vinyl siding. One of the latest ideas is van graphics. Everything comes from the fact that there are a lot of trucks on the roads these days. In fact, the white van has become a common and ubiquitous on Britain's congested roads. They are everywhere, so why not make better use of them?

Many of the white vans have some form of advertising on them. In many cases it is little more than a company name with phone numbers. In cases more adventurous may also include an e-mail and a website address.

This is not advertising in the real sense. It is simply a passive form of advertising - a company of stamping their mark on one of their possessions. It 's almost waiting for something to do and most small businesses do. The more adventurous can include a catchy slogan with some artwork, maybe a cartoon-style graphics that puts the message in a weird sort of way colored.

Van graphics can be much more though. Not every white van also has a company name on it, but the van itself could go a hundred miles or more a day, collecting this and that delivery. A lot of people go to see the white van, but all they see is just that - a white van and nothing else!

One company, has taken hold at least the fact that these white vans are nuggets of gold just waiting to be collected. If they agree, they can bring publicity to someone else who will be happy to pay for the privilege of having your own personal message trundled across the country and be seen by thousands of eyes each week.

This is one of those types of solutions where everyone wins. Vans cost money to run. For society is just another in the head that must be respected, but if the truck can also generate revenue for a publicity machine rolling, that income may seriously offset the operating costs of the van, or even meet if the advertising is lucrative enough. Graphic white van carrying the advertising of other people can be a real win-win situation .......
