8 Tips for saving time to be Organized

Getting organized is a huge undertaking if you allowed the clutter out of control. You spend a whole weekend to put things right only to find out just three months down the road with the same problem again. What can you do?

Incorporating these tips into your regular routine will not keep you organized, but you will save a lot of time and frustration.

Tip 1 - No mess - No distractions. Keep only the items on your desk that you are using for that particular project so you are free from distractions.

Tip 2 - Write it down! Write things will save you time and frustration later. Why run the risk of forgetting an appointment, when only a few seconds to write it?

Tip 3 - Time Lock Program to work on similar tasks. Pay your bills and open items in you program money management while everything is on the desk and fresh in your mind. Make all the calls together, sign birthday cards, holiday and business for the entire month in one sitting.

Tip 4 - Clean your records. Go through and organized your cards and folders. Then schedule time to delete files. This can be done monthly, quarterly, semiannually or annually, make sure you do it on a regular basis.

Tip 5 - Use a calendar. Having a calendar to keep track of all your work and personal dates will eliminate lost or conflicting appointments. You can buy a great desktop calendar with plenty of space for all appointments from a office supply store for under $ 10.

Tip 6 - Set a timer! If you are yet to establish a routine or simply are not good at following them, set a timer or alarm to go off when it's time for you to change careers. This will keep you on schedule and help you understand how long it takes to complete each task.

Tip 7 - keep your receipts together. I have a coupon organizer in my purse with each section labeled according to my tax expenses (fuel, supplies, dinner meetings, equipment rentals, etc..) When I receive a receipt, I automatically put in the appropriate section so that when I get home is already separated for me.

Tip 8 - Have a drawer organizer for all your small desk items like paper clips, pens, rubber bands, etc. to have everything in one place saves time when reaching for something, because he knows where he is. Another advantage is that you can see at a glance when you need to supply more items.

Programming in a few minutes once a day / week / month to stay organized you will not have to worry about losing control. You will have less stress and more time to devote to more important business activities .......
