Safety Tips for inflatable slides

Inflatable slides are a great way to add a unique source of fun at the party for your child. They do not cost much to rent and kids never seem to tire of them. As an added bonus for adults, when children are consumed in the slide, and sleep early and sleep well after the party!

Although inflatable slides are fun and safe, there are still some rules to follow to make sure that nothing unexpected happens.

Inspection and Insurance. Ask the inflatable rental agency what type of safety inspections that use so you can be sure the equipment is safe. Rent only by companies engaged in insurance liability.

The slide should have a constant controlling adult. All parents know it only takes a split second for kids to do something stupid and dangerous. There should be a parent or older teen to a party whose sole job is to watch the slide ensuring that all children are playing safely.

Keep pets away. Inflatable slides are designed for humans and are not safe for animals to play. Additionally, claws and teeth, cut to create a hole in the fabric.

Keep an eye on the weather. Time often seems to conspire against us, waiting for the day of our party outdoor run badly. High winds can cause the slide to wobble dangerously and rain can make the surface too smooth to be safe. Lightning tends to strike the tallest object, and that might be just the slide or the baby on it. If the weather turns sour, get the kids off the slide immediately.

A drink at hand. When playing on inflatable slides, kids will work up a sweat itself. Children can get dehydrated quickly in order to have available when you get the drinks.

Without food and drink on the slide. While you want to have food and drinks on hand, make a hard and fast rule that children can not take snacks on the slide. I will not stain the fabric and may pay additional fees for cleaning.

There are crazy antics. Children have a tendency to get pretty wild and that's fine. However, we recommend that you stop paying over the antics of the likes of climbing the sides, or a horde of kids that go down at once.

Keep the crowd. Other activities should be a safe distance from the slide. Spectators are welcome, but do not let them hang off the side or get too close.

Same age only. If you have guests of different ages in your party, you better have a definite schedule for certain age groups. You do not want your nursery children crushed under a stream of hyperactive adolescent boys.

Many of these tips apply to other external inflatable houses as well. The rental company will probably have their own set of safety guidelines for you to follow. Read and follow them to ensure that everyone has a great time! ......
