Poodle Behavior Demystified
The poodle is a hot favorite for many especially because it is very docile animal, easy to train and even easier to carry. However, there are many problems that could occur if the poodle training we give is defective or the dog was rescued and had been severely abused when she was younger.
There are many ways that indicate that your poodle is not well adapted to its environment. The most obvious is that it will bark incessantly when you have people visiting and do not pay enough attention to it. These dogs suffer from separation anxiety, and at the same time might feel threatened by the large crowd that surrounds them. Some Poodles will act aggressive or go on a rampage destroying chew everything they can put their teeth. These dogs too suffer from separation anxiety and destructive behavior is to draw your attention to them, especially asking you not to leave them out of sight.
Fear is a common cause for all problems poodle. This fear can be of many types. The Poodle may fear being left alone, or may fear a secure transport. Other times may be afraid of other animals, or may fear your strict attitude. Take a close look at what might be the fear before launching into a disciplinary action when the poodle exhibits bad behavior.
Anything could be causing the Poodle to behave badly, you know that can be remedied with simple steps. The poodle is a dog that responds very well to love and positive reinforcement. If you want your dog to behave better, all you have to do is praise that is rewarding and spend time with as much as you can.
Pay attention to the fact that sometimes - and this is, as often you will find misbehaving or being aggressive - your poodle is a spoiled child. In other words, his tantrums and bad behavior are due to too much pampering and attention, that is causing it to become too demanding.
All problems can be overcome poodle if you have enough love to give and enough patience to be around it because we want to respond to new lifestyle. Whatever Poodle problems you may encounter, you can make it disappear in a short time with a little 'patience and a lot of attention.
There are dogs who have survived traumatic past and there are dogs who think they should be treated like royalty. In whatever way it is, you might consider the positive reinforcement, as the most simple and safe-fire to bring your poodle to behave exactly as you want.
When you own a poodle, you should be sure of one thing. First priority is the dog to please you so, until you can show the dog through rewards and positive reinforcement of good behavior that you really want it, you will be able to motivate to do what you want....
